This traditional Japanese knife is hand-forged from mild carbon steel around a high carbon core to give the perfect combination of strength and edge. These knives have tradtional bamboo-composite handles in a D-shaped grip for comfort and have a single-bevel edge and are therefore for right-handed users only. These beautiful knives are razor sharp and embossed with the makers mark and are presented in individual boxes.
