Handmade in the ancient Moroccan city of Fez, these marmettes are made of traditional glazed terracotta and are a wonderful hybrid between a Moroccan tajine and a traditional French casserole. Perfect for slow cooking, a marmette will give you both the succulence of a traditional tagine with the extra capacity of a casserole. While the marmette can be used on a traditional charcoal burner, its size will allow it to fit into a more standard oven.22cm in diameter, 14cm tall (including lid), volume 1.125 litres (just over 5 cups) for base only.
